History & Background

Rounders has been played in England since Tudor times.  It is the game on which the modern sport of baseball is based. 

Today, rounders is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK.  It is played by both men and women.  Mixed rounders teams are common throughout the UK.  Over 86% of schools play rounders, and there are over adult 40 leagues across the country.
